Guessing that seeing you are here, you are at the very beginnings of planning for your big day, how exciting! With over 10 years of experience in the wedding industry, we know that there is certainly a lot to organise, and that can be a bit overwhelming! But as they say, organisation is the essence of efficiency, and we want to share a few things that we hope may help you plan!

First off, you’ll be needing a checklist to place on your fridge, or some other easy-to-see location. Because, all this wedding planning stuff takes time, and we only have so much of it, unfortunately! So we definitely wouldn’t want something to be missed and you having to rush around at the last minute to sought something! Starting with the first order of business, we would recommend the venue you’d love to use be arranged first, and from there everything else can fall into place (we hope!). After that, the wedding photographer and videographer are usually arranged next. And if you happen to still be looking, we have a great sale at the moment and would be honoured to capture authentic, beautiful memories of your wedding day, so lets chat! Of course, there are a number of other things that need to be arranged, for more details, why not check out our checklist example blog?

After you have finished that checklist (congratulations by the way when you get there!), you’ll be wanting to finalise a timeline for your big day. This will really help you and your vendors manage your big day and make sure everything goes off without a hitch. As you most definitely want everything to arrive on time, and people to be where they need to be. Wouldn’t want the food to go cold or anything! For an example timeline from a wedding photographer's and videographer's point of view, please check out our blog!

You may be thinking, with this timeline, what kind of shots will your photographer be capturing? Well, we discuss what we would consider to be the must-have shots here. We think it is really useful for you to have an understanding of what to expect for your big day, and hopefully make you feel at ease. This will definitely help us capture those authentic, beautiful memories, as you will just be more relaxed. And seeing some examples will hopefully get you excited, and you may have some different must-have shots, which we would love to hear about!

So those are some of the things we think really help our couples get a better understanding of their wedding day and help them plan it, and ultimately just means they get to enjoy it more! Because don’t forget, organization is the essence of efficiency!

By the way, if you are still looking for a wedding photographer or videographer (or why not both?!?!?), we would love to hear from you. We would be honoured to capture your beautiful wedding day.

We look forward to seeing you on your wedding day!
